If it has SR9570 you need BMW part number 12411350775. I tried shorting the brown/black wire on the starter relay to ground but that doesn't crank the engine which leads me to suspect the starter relay rather than the ignition switch/wiring. it should help (along with the right wiring diagram) to trace each wire. If the starter has never been serviced (cleaned, re-lubed) it would possibly benefit from some attention as well - when they get dry and dirty they can sometimes bind up.
